Blog 8: Rotational momentum and Impulse

As I was looking through my old pictures, I noticed this picture of my volleyball team. It reminded me of how while playing volleyball, there is physics going on all around. For example, when a player hits the ball and puts spin on it, it has rotational momentum and when you pass a ball, there is an impulse between the ball and your arms. You do not want the force to be too big so you increase the time between contact because J=Ft.
