I was looking at my friends pictures when I noticed this particular photo and I immediately thought of physics when I closely examined the picture. Light from an outside force reflects off the water and since the water has ripples the water bounces off in all different directions. It bounces off each ripple the same angle that it hits the wave. Also, the lights underneath the water aren't exactly where your eyes perceive them because light gets refracted from water to air because it takes the path of least time and since light travels slower in water than air, it refracts.Thursday, May 27, 2010

When I first saw this picture I didn't think much of it but then I realized that this is probably how a dog would see us because dogs are completely color blind. A lot of males are color blind as well but they still see color, they just have trouble seeing certain colors and the cannot differentiate some colors. On the other hand, dogs cannot see color. Unlike humans that have both rods and cones in their eyes dogs only have rods. No cones means no color.Blog 12
As I was looking back at pictures from the 'Iolani Family Fair, I noticed this picture because the bright colors seemed to jump off the page. The first thing that you see when you look at this picture are our shirts and the bottle caps of the middle group of bottles. That is because that shade of bright green/yellow are perceived strongest by your eyes which makes them easy to spot. Also, when one looks at this picture there are many colors, but ur brain only actually perceives three main colors, red green and blue and it is the mixture of these three that makes different colors.
